I have posted previously to members on the results of the review process for the Draft International Standard for the revision of ISO 15489.
The latest vote was concluded in late April, and very sincere thanks to those of you that provided comments.
The final vote by member countries was: 19 to 3 in favour of approving the draft. This means that this draft becomes the new ISO 15489.
There were however over 100 pages of comments, many from countries who voted Yes - including many technical comments. The ISO Working Group meets at the start of June in Beijing to resolve these comments.
The idea is then that final draft will then be submitted for publication.
