Working with SIARD

Does anyone have experience working with SIARD to preserve databases? I saw a video from PROV about using it (thank you to those responsible, it was helpful), but I wanted to see if anybody could give candid feedback on the strengths/weaknesses and usability.

I want to get my archives to begin using and/or experimenting with it, and since one needs to contact the Swiss archives for a copy, feedback from the comunity may help me make the case to the bosses.
