Storing artwork (framed)

Hi all, 

We have alot of framed works of various sizes and I'm just seeking suggestions for artwork storage - what do you use at your school? I have found a great unit to purchase but it is quite expensive (see image below) so I thought before I do, I would look for alternatives.

Morning Becca,

We had our maintenance team build ours, so we could customise to fit our space.  Its just laminated particle board, with timber beaded edges (not necessary, it was to match other shelves, you could use the iron on edges).  We have synthetic cut pile carpet on the bottom so the artworks gilde in and out. 

There have been changes to the way the Ning sends out notifications, so I'm not sure how many school archivists will see your posts.
