The ASA Reference Access and Public Program Special Interest Group (RAPPSIG) is holding a half day forum on the morning of Tuesday 30 September during the ASA/ARANZ 2014 Conference in Christchurch.
The RAPPSIG Committee is looking for people to each give a 15 minute presentation on any aspect of the Conference theme, Connecting: Past, Present and Future. The first theme can cover access to archives for communities in time of disaster; the second can include resilience of archival programs while recovering and the third what we will do next time.
Would you like to help us? Have you a story to share? Has your experience been something that demonstrates the versatility, depth and range of how archives interact with the public?
Your talk does not have to be a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
Together, we should be able to make this RAPPSIG forum one to remember! Please send in your abstract to archives@act.gov.au by 1 September so the Committee can organize the program.
