update PhD project on the cultural significance of ecclesiastical textiles

I would like to thank all those from the Collections of Faith SIG who responded to my request in Blessed Collections (April 2016) for assistance with my PhD project. It is not yet too late to assist.  I am happy to send out copies of the Information Sheet, which explains the project, and a Questionnaire, which is designed to collect information about the types of ecclesiastical/religious textiles that are kept in archives, their cultural signifiance/importance to their communities and their conservation challenges, to any others who would like to participate.  While the main focus of my research is on textiles from the Roman Catholic Church, an insight into the significance textiles from other denominations and faith groups is most welcome.  Members who may care for religious textiles held in secular archives are also invited to participate.  I can be contacted at the University of Canberra via email at   [e-mail]  .
