Queery re LGBTI faith collections

I am posting on behalf of the Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives (ALGA) where I am the volunteer collection manager. We are a community-based volunteer-run archive established in 1978. We've had an enquiry from the LGBTQ Religious Archives Network (https://lgbtqreligiousarchives.org/) in the USA regarding LGBTQ religious archival holdings in Australia. Does anyone have any notable LGBTQ collections or items in their archives?

ALGA holds a range of material relating to various religious groups and individuals, eg.:

  • Fr Ken Sinclair (the Catholic Church and homosexuality/AIDS);
  • Rev John Willis (Christ's Community Church, Melbourne);
  • Margaret Bernasconi (founder of Acceptance, Melbourne);
  • Fabian LoSchiavo and Bruce Belcher (Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence);
  • Dino Hodge (research and interviews for 'The Fall Upwards: Spirituality in the Lives of Lesbian Women and Gay Men);
  • the Records of the Uniting Network/Victorian Gay Christian Collective (Uniting Church of Australia LGBT network);
  • David McKenna (Rainbow Sash Movement);
  • Michael Barnett (Aleph Melbourne); and
  • a range of small archival, periodical, and ephemera collections covering Acceptance, Metropolitan Community Church (MCC), Uniting Church in Australia, Anglican Church in Australia (AngGays), Islamic groups (Maharba, Queer Muslims Australia, Sydney Queer Muslims), David Vincent Ryan (Buddhist funeral), Jewish groups (Jewish Lesbian Group, Aleph, Chutzpah, Dayenu, Geyeh, Keshet Australia) etc
