The Victorian Museums and Galleries Forum is a two-day event dedicated to discussing trending topics in the museum and gallery sector. This years' theme is on 'FUTURE FOCUS: Collections, people, governance and policy'.
Our panel of insightful speakers will tackle a number of key themes that have emerged since the pandemic. These include future trends in museums and galleries; the future of collections; future proofing the profession; and what future focused governance and policies in museums and galleries might look like, incorporating new ideas around accessibility, cultural safety, inclusivity, and mental health and wellbeing. Followed by a broader networking and site visit program of collecting organisations located in the City of Melbourne.
