Victorian Branch 2017 Annual General Meeting and Presentation by Julia Mant

The Victorian Branch invites you to register for for the Annual General Meeting featuring a guest presentation by Julia Mant, ASA President.

Julia Mant will present an update on ASA and future directions. Julia was elected as ASA President in October 2016. She joined the ASA Council in October 2013 as Secretary and served in that capacity until August 2015, then remaining as a council member and Co-convenor of the 2016 ASA Conference in Parramatta. From 2004 - 2012, Julia was on the NSW Branch Committee, holding various positions of Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Member. She is the Archives and Records Manager at NIDA in Sydney.

As a Victorian Branch member you will receive an email at least two weeks prior to the AGM calling for nominations for positions. The positions up for election include: Convenor, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Officer and Committee Members. Members can nominate themselves at any point up to the holding of the election and members can nominate for more than one position. You will receive an annual report on the activities of the Branch from the Secretary, a copy of the Branch’s financial statements for the preceding year from the Treasurer and a complete list of Branch members tabled.
