Managing Transitions: Communicating the needs of your Archive and adapting to a physical move

Open to all involved in school archives.

Join us, in person at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School or online, for a panel discussion and Q&A session with experienced archivists.

Discussion Topics:

• Adapting to Change: Hear from seasoned archivists about their experiences in moving school archives and adapting to new environments.

• Communication Strategies: Learn effective ways to communicate the unique needs of your archive during a transition.

• Space Optimization: Get valuable pointers on designing storage solutions to maximize space and efficiency.

• Offsite Storage Management: Discover strategies for managing archives in offsite storage when physical space is limited. The session will be followed by a morning tea and a tour of the Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School archives, hosted by Brigid Cooper, School Archivist.

To secure your spot, please RSVP by registering here as spaces are limited.

For those attending in person, details will be provided after registration. If you prefer to join us virtually, the Zoom link will be sent to registered attendees closer to the event date.

Don’t forget to indicate if you are planning to join us in person or online and whether you will be joining us for lunch at a nearby café (at own cost) after the event.

We look forward to a vibrant discussion and the opportunity to connect with fellow archivists dedicated to the preservation of our school’s history.
