With the ASA/ITIC conference coming up in Melbourne, it’s a great time to think about expanding our horizons. Creating connections with colleagues and peers can be daunting, particularly for people who are new to the profession. Join the Victorian Branch, with invited guests from the University of Melbourne’s social media team and established professionals from the Victorian archival community, for a session all about building professional networks (and maintaining existing ones).

At this session we will discuss how to develop a social media profile, and talk about the excitement and etiquette of conference tweeting. There will be short presentations, followed by plenty of time for questions and discussion. BYOD* if you can!
