The next event for the Tasmanian Branch is our AGM combined with a tour of the marvellously upgraded facilities of the Hutchins School Archives – note our sneaky way of getting you to the AGM J

You may recall a group of us visited the school last year prior to the Archives undergoing a major upgrade, and the follow-up visit we planned earlier this year was literally washed-out! This will be our opportunity to see how things have worked out.

Details are as follows:

Where: The Hutchins School, 71 Nelson Road Sandy Bay (meeting at the bell-tower courtyard right next to the school carpark)

When: Thursday August 18th at 530pm

RSVP: to me at david.bloomfield@education.tas.gov.au by Friday 12th August

Margaret Mason-Cox, the School Archivist will provide us with a tour which will be followed by the Branch AGM enjoyed with some nibbles. PLEASE bring a gold coin donation to contribute to the food.

Look forward to seeing you there!
