In this one hour online session Cassie Findlay will provide an update on current developments in the regulatory landscape affecting privacy, including the review of the Commonwealth Privacy Act, and new laws facilitating data sharing. She will also look at the tsunami of technological and societal change that we are undergoing now, and the privacy implications of trends like the rise of AI, smart cities and more. Lastly, she will reflect on how the skills and understandings of recordkeeping professionals can be used to effectively manage privacy risks in this dynamic and evolving environment.
