The NSW Branch Committee invites you to our next meeting, which will be held online. Please note it is necessary to register for this event.

Dr Kate Cumming will speak to the branch ahead of a business meeting.

Kate replaced the irreplaceable Tim Robinson as the University of Sydney Archivist, Manager Privacy Compliance and Manager of Archives and Records Management Services in April 2020, in the second week of Sydney’s COVID lockdown.

Now after almost a year in the role, Kate will talk about archives, digital archives, online access and digital transformation. Kate is also particularly interested in recordkeeping and how archivists can collaborate with, learn and leverage skills from colleagues in privacy, freedom of information, cyber security and data management.

Kate has worked in archives, records, information management and data management roles across all levels of government for 25 years. She is a founding member of the Recordkeeping Roundtable and thoroughly enjoys talking about all sorts of recordkeeping issues.

This is a free event, but registrations are required via the ASA website.
