WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

The aim of these interactive workshops is to:

• Provide a formal framework and mechanisms for sharing disaster management expertise and resources between regional cultural organisations
• Enhance community-based disaster preparedness and response through the development and promotion of local disaster networks
• Build resilience in regional cultural heritage preservation.

These workshops have been made possible by funding from the Australian Government and by residual funding from the Collections Council of Australia.
