The Vic Branch of the ASA invites friends and members to join us for a tour of the Museo Italiano Cultural Centre and Italian Historical Society CoAsIt, to be followed by a short branch meeting.
The Italian Historical Society was established in 1980 to collect, preserve and promote the history of Italian immigration to Australia. Museo Italiano was launched in October 2010 to house a permanent exhibition exploring the experiences of Italian migrants to Australia and the meeting of Italian culture and the Australian context.
The tour will begin at 4.30pm (please arrive 5 minutes prior), with the branch meeting at 5pm.
