The Queensland Branch of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers Inc. (ANZSI) is offering a two part course on back-of-book indexing. Basic Book Indexing part one is being offered to those in the information profession and/or publishing industries who have limited knowledge of the art of indexing. The course is designed to have a large practical component, but will also give a strong basis in the theory of indexing.

  • Alphabetical arrangement

  • Editing for publication
  • Evaluating indexes
  • Indexing as a business

Practical exercises will be conducted throughout the course.

Course Fees  $300 per day for non-members; $250 per day for ANZSI members
