The ALACC is pleased to announce our upcoming copyright training session for librarians and archivists will be held in Melbourne on Friday 8 July 2022.

With two half-day sessions and a special guest (TBA), this training aims to arm librarians and archivists with the knowledge and skills to tackle copyright in modern cultural collections and institutions. Whether you're a copyright beginner or looking to brush up on your copyright skills or get the latest updates. From an understanding of how copyright works, to copyright licensing, copyright exceptions and other copyright topics, we cover it all and take questions from the floor.

Both sessions are free for ALIA, NSLA, CAUL, AGLIN, CAARA, ASLA and ASA members and their employees – but anyone with an interest in copyright for the cultural sector is welcome to attend.

Please see the Humanitix event page or click the button below for more information and to register.

The ALACC thanks the State Library Victoria for hosting this in-person training session.
