The ALCC is pleased to announce that our first in-person copyright training session for librarians and archivists since the COVID-19 pandemic began: in-person in Brisbane and by live stream on Thursday 15 April.

Over two sessions – Copyright Essentials and Copyright Extended – this training aims to arm librarians and archivists with the knowledge and skills to tackle copyright in their institutions. Whether you're a copyright beginner or looking for the latest updates we cover it all and take questions from the floor. Topics include copyright duration, what's protected, licensing, document delivery, inter-library loan, section 200AB, orphan works and more.

All sessions are free for ALIA, NSLA, CAUL, AGLIN, CAARA, ASLA and ASA members and their employees – but anyone with an interest in copyright for the cultural and arts sectors are welcome to attend.

For your convenience this seminar will also be live streamed.

Please see the Humanitix event page for more information and to register. Please forward this information to colleagues who may be interested.
