Robert Lawrie, Manager of the New South Wales Parliamentary Archives, is due to leave that position on Friday 25 March 2011 (the day before the NSW Election!), taking extended leave until his retirement in August 2011.

Robert reports that his employers have not yet made any firm decision about filling the position of Manager.

Robert will not be taking on any archival jobs in retirement; instead, he is taking a different direction.

He is already enrolled at the College of Fine Arts (COFA, a college of UNSW) in Sydney, doing a Bachelor of Arts in painting.
