The session is a free one hour presentation aimed at Records Managers, Corporate Services Managers or Information Managers who have responsibility for records storage facilities. The session covers the following topics:
- The Storage Standard and it's implications for records storage;
- The importance of storage inspections for records preservation;
- The importance of having a records disaster recovery plan and what it should address; and
- How to assess commercially operated storage records facilities.
The session is being co-presented by Merrick Morris, Senior Manager, Collection Services and Greg Alley, Senior Facilities Manager from the Public Record Office Victoria.
