2019 Call for Papers - Special Issue on Digital Projects

The Digital Projects special issue aims to provide a snapshot of what is happening around the world in preservation, digital technologies and culture. We are looking for professionals and researchers to share their experiences in how their digital project has tackled a particular preservation issue. We are especially interested in reports that share what problems arose, how they were solved and the lessons learned.

There are two streams for this special issue:

  1. Non-peer reviewed reports can be up to 3000 words. Due September 30, 2019. Editorial review.
This report would include an introduction/overview, findings, discussion and conclusion.
  2. Peer-reviewed case study reports up to 5000 words. Due August 31, 2019. Peer-review.
The case study report is guided by a research question and explores theory and practice in more detail. A case study report would include an introduction, literature review, methodology, findings, discussion and conclusion.
