The Digital Continuity 2020 Policy calls for information, systems and processes to be interoperable by 31 December 2020. Building this interoperability is a challenge and one that many agencies may feel unfamiliar with or overwhelmed by.

The National Archives of Australia has developed the interoperability learning resource that unpacks key themes and development phases when building interoperability. It is complemented by scenarios that take you through the phases to resolve common interoperability hurdles.

It will also help you:

  • understand how to approach interoperability projects including who needs to be involved
  • learn about common interoperability technologies
  • understand the importance and role of governance and management.
