Wednesday 18 September is Ask A Curator Day. This will be a twitter chat between museums and the public everywhere. Any Museum can sign up to take part in this event, you just need to fill out a simple form to join in.
Many large and small museums and art galleries who took part in 2010 reported that it gave them exposure that they would not have been able to achieve without #AskACurator. You can sign up your museum to answer questions or you can join the Twitter conversation to ask a question.
The public will be posting questions all day on Twitter under the hashtag #AskACurator to learn more about what curators do, how they make their decisions, and what their favourite objects are.
