Archives and Records Management - Has the Records Continuum Model been adopted at Australian Universities?

I wonder how many of your programs are also responsible for records management. If so, have you implemented systems for the management of electronic records? 

While reviewing what North American universities are doing in this field, I was lead to believe that most university records programs are well behind because of the long standing "life cycle" tradition and poor adoption of ISO standards and methodologies associated with the "records continuum" model.
