The digital choices we make

Dear All,

I came upon this item http://www.jiscww1discovery.net/ on Twitter and was most taken by the comment “Collections may be in both analogue and digital form, however the project has mainly focused on those collections which have already been digitised.”

This revisits a theme of some of my lectures and I find it interesting in the context of choosing to concentrate on those collections already digitised and how this common approach and the choices made by archivists, etc., about what to digitise influences the current and future view and interpretation of history.
