hello everyone

my name is Robert Wilson

im a student at tafe nsw currently studying a cert 3 in library and information resources. im currently doing a assessment on cataloguing tools. the last question of the assessment is this

" Show below how you might change one of the SCIS records when it is imported to your own library system to be in line with your own organisation's procedures, eg change SF for senior fiction to JF junior fiction in a K-10 school. If you are not working in a library refer to either a local library that you use or even consider the scenario that you are in a school library. In a local library scenario you may have different ways of designating picture books or literature for teens. Usually these are preset in your workplace and would be in the procedures folder. However, if you are having to set up a library from scratch, you would make these designations and record them in the procedures folder."

so how would you lovely people do this in your library's and what would be the steps you would take to ensure you have the correct information.

cheers and many thanks

robert wilson.

ps stay safe from the virus.
