Has anyone investigated or had experience with a LED lighting system that is attached to the mobile shelving system?
A system where the lighting is only operational when the shelving bays are opened and moved, as apposed to lighting form the ceiling.

Hello David,
Our archives uses mobile shelvings with LED lights which only lighten when the shelvings are opened.
This is a link to a catalog for mobile shelvings similar to what we use (page 226). It is only written in Japanese, so I am not so sure if this information could be useful for you.
