Course accreditation is linked to the ASA's rule regarding professional membership (Rule 4.2.a.iii), which states that:

Professional membership shall be open to any person who is or has been an archivist employed in a recognised archives institution who (iii) being a holder of a qualification in archives administration accredited by the ASA, or such other qualification as may be deemed by the Council to be the equivalent thereof, has been so employed for one year.

A big THANK YOU to our Accreditation Team

Like so much of what the ASA’s does, course accreditation cannot take place without the efforts of dedicated members who give generously of their time and expertise. On behalf of all ASA members and the broader Archival profession, Council sincerely acknowledges our most recent Accreditation Team members; Danielle Wickman (Team Leader), Gina Grey and David Wardle. We thank them for their hard work and commitment to the ASA. It is volunteers such as Dani, Gina and David are the lifeblood of the ASA.
