David Fricker has been Director General at the National Archives of Australia for ten years and as his tenure comes to a close, members are invited to a webinar to hear David’s reflections in conversation with ASA President Nicola Laurent.
The last ten years has seen significant change and evolution for the archives sector and how our communities engage with us – it was only ten years ago back in 2010 the first iPad was released.
David will talk about the recent Australian Government funding package in response to the Tune Review and will discuss new initiatives related to preservation, digitisation, access and our physical record collections. David will also respond to questions from Members via Nicola - members will be invited to submit their questions after they register for this event.
