Hi.
We are working on records management policy or strategy for our city. I wonder if any of you have or know about such policy and are willing to share it with me?
Also we are starting strategy work for our archives for the next years and would also very much like to see such for other public archives, if you could mail it to us.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Svanhildur Bogadottir

  • Hi Svanhildur,

For a start, you could contact Mark Stevens, the City of Sydney Archivist: mstevens@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au

    CofSA website: http://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/learn/history/archives

and Annabel Lloyd, Brisbane City Council Archivist: annabel.lloyd@brisbane.qld.gov.au

Mark is not on Archives Live, but Annabel is so you can find her via the Members page (see menu above).

Also there are two Australian Society of Archivists Special Interest Groups: Local Government Archives SIG and the newly formed Government Archives SIG. You can find both of those Groups here on Archives Live. See Groups menu above.

I will have a look at your FB page and Like it seeing as I am a lover of all things Icelandic!

    Best wishes, Louise Trott
