Come and join the WA Branch for their 2017 Icebreaker Event.

Collections Sector Development Framework

The framework has been produced by the new Collections Sector Working Group, which represents galleries, libraries, archives and museums. It is intended to provide strategic support to a diverse range of collections in regional and metropolitan WA. Come to this icebreaker event for 2017 and find out more about the proposed strategies contained in the framework emailed on 29 December 2016.

WA members have an opportunity to input towards this GLAM sector framework by voting on the priorities of each of the eight elements in the framework. Please take a few minutes to complete the online survey emailed to you on 3 Jan 2017. The survey closes on 27 January 2017 and we encourage you to complete this survey by following the link emailed to you if you have not done so yet. Findings from this survey will be shared at the event.

Dr. Lise Summers has posted her commentary from the ASA perspective on each of the eight elements in her blog that may interest you as background information.
