Join the WA Branch for their 2017 Annual General Meeting.
The meeting will start with the 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Western Australian Branch of Australian Society of Archivists (ASA) and the election of the ASA WA Branch Committee for 2017/2018, the vacant positions are Convenor, Secretary, Program Coordinator, Contributor to Publication and up to five committee members. All ASA WA Branch Members are encouraged to consider getting involved, if you wish to nominate please email ASA national secretary Guy Tranter with your name and the position for which you wish to nominate by 4 pm 19 July 2017. Nominations may also be made at the meeting. If more than 2 nominations are received for one position there will be an election at the AGM.
Following the AGM, ASA National President Julia Mant will address the WA Branch. Julia took over the reins as president in October last year. This meeting will be a good opportunity to meet her and discuss any Society matters you may have on your mind.
