ARMA Canada’s annual conference hosts 350+ delegates and exhibitors of the records and information management discipline – an expanding field of specialists.  Each year, the annual conference brings people together from all across Canada (government, private sector, and not-for-profit) and provides educational sessions, networking opportunities and knowledge of current services and technologies through the Exhibit Hall. In addition to current topics covered by numerous speakers, the conference includes special keynote presenters and national awards ceremony.

Conference delegates are provided opportunities to expand their knowledge in sessions presented by experts in the field, meet with exhibitors of newest technologies and services, and network with their peers to complete the experience.

ARMA International is a not-for-profit professional association established in 1955.  Its approximately 10,000 members include records managers, archivists, corporate librarians, imaging specialists, legal professionals, IT managers, consultants, and educators, all of whom work in a wide variety of industries, including government, legal, healthcare, financial services, and petroleum in the United States, Canada, and 30-plus other countries.

ARMA International publishes Information Management (IM)magazine, the only professional magazine specifically for professionals who manage records and information on a daily basis. The award-winning IM magazine is published bi-monthly and features top-drawer articles on the hottest topics in records and information management today, as well as marketplace news and analysis.

The association also develops and publishes standards and guidelines related to records management. It was a key contributor to the international records management standard, ISO-15489.
