Dear colleagues
The final 2019 ASA ACT Branch gathering will be on Thursday, 12 December to celebrate the year and in anticipation of the festive season.
Please join us at the Canberra Croquet Club (on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Coronation Drive adjacent to the Hyatt Hotel Canberra).
We have booked a lawn for Thursday 12 Dec from 5:00 to 7:00pm. The cost will be $10 per person.
Our colleague and croquet grand master, Rodney Teakle, will be on hand to take us through the rules of the game, help to organise the teams and resolve any score disputes (for the archival hot heads!).
The main requirement is that people wear flat shoes (ie no high heels). And have fun!
There are tables and chairs to enjoy snacks and drinks, if croquet is not your game.
There is a gate to the Croquet Club car park and you can park there. You just need to open the (unlocked) gate and then shut it.
